Founded in December 2018 Skipyard Productions is an independent production company based in the North East. We are developing a diverse portfolio of impactful, engaging, entertaining and inspiring film and TV projects that reflect the pivotal societal and environmental issues of our time.
Our mission is to harness the power of film and television to create "must see" content that raises awareness of key issues, generates a conversation around them and ultimately contributes to positive change.
Skipyard can provide creative talent with unique access to scientists, environmental groups and policy makers - and seeks to build a group of changemakers to conceive, develop and produce stories for positive change.
The UN’s Global Goals for Sustainable Development are a key touchstone for Skipyard’s projects. The company is a BAFTA albert affiliate

Juliet is the founder and CEO of Good Energy Group PLC, an AIM-listed green-energy supply business that’s been a leading innovator in the energy market for 20 years. Juliet is passionate about transforming the way both business and technology can deliver meaningful change.
For the last two decades she has been at the forefront of transformation in the energy market. With Skipyard Juliet sees an exciting new opportunity to use film and television as a means to engage, inform and influence key sustainability challenges facing society.

June 2019 Skipyard is one of the first companies in the film and TV sector to be given advanced assurance for SEIS & EIS investments since the HMRC rules change last year. It is now actively seeking investors to support its growth.
